Potter actor Oliver Phelps (aka George Weasley) announced that the Deathly Hallows film is using VFX MOVA technology, like that used in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button to change the age/appearnace of the actors.
Phelps stated on his Twitter account yesterday:
Wicked days filming today. I can say I am the first actor in the UK to have a VFX MOVA facial capture scan. Exciting technology.
Right then MOVA is a system where by using 29 cameras and UB makeup and lighting can get very detailed motions of ones face.
