They have now been auctioned.

A total of £32,000 was raised for the 3-year-old, who lost her hands to meningitis in 2007. Replacement limbs are required yearly until she turns 18. The celebrity hands were auctioned on Saturday at the Gateshead Hilton Hotel in Newcastle, England.

J.K. Rowling's fetched the highest amount, at £6,000.

Tilly's mother Sarah, of Consett, said: "The night went better than we could have ever hoped for and Tilly loved all the attention.

"It was so amazing to see such a big turnout for my little girl."
