The live webcast for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter has started!
First we see Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe, and Emma Watson at Leavesden studios in England where Harry Potter is filmed. The trio talk about how excited they are to be a part of the project.
Screencaps can be seen here, thanks to SnitchSeeker.
Tom Felton has joined the theme park crew, and got the exclusive opportunity to reveal to the world that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be opening Spring 2010.
Tom also said that he was excited about the filmed scenes and that what he's looking forward to the most is getting to walk through the actual wizarding world, without 'scaffolding' behind the actual sets and getting to experience the real thing.
The most anticipated ride is the mysterious Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey which will be located inside Hogwarts castle - Tom and the rest of the cast are most excited about that one too!
Finally is the entrance to Hogwarts and the castle coming to life. The park took a total of five years to plan!
From the creators of the Wizarding World:
{xtypo_quote}It start with Hogsmeade station into the park. To its left is Zonko's, Honeydukes, and the Three Broomsticks (serve pumpkin juice and butterbeer). across the Three Broomsticks is the Owlery (a 'calm environement' with owls atop), next to it is the owl post office. Ollivander's wand shop is to the post office's right. Inside of the wand shop will be thousands of dusty-old wand boxes. Dervish and Banges will have wizarding memorabilia like sneakoscopes and much more. there will be The Dragon Challenge & Flight of the Hippogriff (plus two roller coasters).{/xtypo_quote)UPDATE: New concept art images of the park can be seen here!
