The Liverpool Echo reports that Bill Nighy filmed night sequences for Deathly Hallows at Birkenhead tunnel.
The actor plays Minister for Magic Rufus Scrimgeour and spoke about "his upcoming big screen wizardry" to local restaurant-goers.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released November 19, 2010 and July 15, 2011.
