Brendan Gleeson was nominated for an Emmy award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or TV Movie for his tole as UK Prime Minister Winston Churchilll in Into the Storm.
The awards were held last night and Brendan won the Outstanding Actor award; photos can be seen here, thanks to SS.
During the press conference after his win, Brendan spoke about having wrapped filming for Deathly Hallows:
Gleeson noted he just wrapped filming "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" and bid farewell to his Mad-Eye Moody. "I waved goodbye to him a week and a half ago. It was great fun, playing Mad-Eye was a hoot."
