Special Features
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Ultimate Edition comes packaged in an impressive looking case that closes magnetically. Inside is a fold out case with the four discs featuring the theatrical version of the movie on Disc 1, the extended version on Disc 2 and the special features on Disc 3 & 4. There is also an envelope containing a digital copy version of the film on disc and two character cards – for Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and Minerva McGonagall (Dame Maggie Smith).
You also get a 48-page hardcover book, Creating the World of Harry Potter, which showcases color photographs focusing on the design and decoration of the movie set. There are also side-by-side comparisons between the concept art and the final versions used on film – and also included is a sketch of Shell Cottage, the home of Bill Weasley (Domhnall Gleeson)and Fleur Delacour (Clemence Poesy) in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

With the special features on Disc 3 you can access the individual sections – FYI: you can only access the Diagon Alley section by remembering the order of bricks Hagrid pressed to enter the street in the film. Then you can check out the amazing magical shops at Diagon Alley. There are also games to play to get your wand, money, and owl.
In the Main Hall, just click on the lantern to watch a 16-minute interview with director Chris Columbus, producer David Heyman, and screenwriter Steve Kloves while working on the set of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The Sorting Hat gives you information on the four houses of Hogwarts. In the Library section you can click on animated books to watch character-related clips from the film. There’s also a gallery of concept art and a short video about the school's ghosts.
If you want to get to the Hogwarts Grounds where just click on the cat. There you can play the Catch the Snitch game or take a video tour of Hagrid's hut. There is also a video where Harry finds out all about the wizarding sport of Quidditch. The Classes section has more mini-games and photos that you can click on to see clips about each teachers.
You can gain access the forbidden third floor corridor through the Classes menu, where you must pass the tests put before you to access the seven deleted scenes on the disc. Good luck!
Disc 4 includes part one of what is set to become an eight-part documentary series, Creating the world of Harry Potter, that will be spread across the Ultimate Edition versions of the Harry Potter films. The first part is titled, The Magic Begins, and sets up the documentary series with a look at how the first film came together through casting the actors and the success with audiences.
