In the January 2010 issue of France's Cosmopolitan magazine, actress Clémence Poésy briefly spoke about her return as Fleur Delacour in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, noting how much has changed since she last portrayed the role five years ago in Goblet of Fire. Clémence also mentioned that the director of Goblet of Fire, Mike Newell, was interested in casting her in the series from watching her performance in the BBC drama Gunpowder, Treason & Plot.
"I play the character Fleur Delacour in number 7 (out November 24th)," says she. "For me it's the holidays! And it will be weird to go back on a shoot where everyone has grown older and taller."
