Movie Vine is reporting that Chris Rankin, Percy Weasley in the Harry Potter movies, will star in the upcoming feature The Stone.
Regarding casting Rankin, producer and writer Philip Gardiner said:
"We are very pleased to have Chris Rankin on board to join the great cast and crew of this highly experimental film."
The film will involve not only a totally new concept in plot and story telling but also some new special effects, both audio and visual, that it is claimed will set the heart pacing.
The movie begins filming in February, while a scheduled release date is sometime in 2010-2011.
