Twilight in Forks: The Saga of the Real Town is everything that a Twilight fan could want in a behind-the-scenes documentary of what life is like in the real town of Forks, Washington, which is the setting of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight saga.

The 84-minute documentary is divided into several sections. We are treated to an introduction where residents of Forks link real stories to the books. Also featured are the fans, the tour, the characters, La Push, and the history. Roy Black Sr., a Quileute Tribal Elder, is also included, and talks about how he's Jacob's Grandpa.

 

The focus turns toward the story, the fans and the Twilight fandom, especially those who traveled to watch filming of the first movie, the people who actually moved to Forks and the bands that have created songs based on the Twilight saga. MTV's Larry Carroll is also featured and talks about the thank-you letters he's received for the coverage of the Twilight saga, and how the fans have become interested in his own personal life, sending him Twilight-themed baby/dad gear. We also hear from another father who reveals that the books have brought him closer to his daughter and that he's become a sort of real-life Carlisle Cullen. John Granger (who has written about Harry Potter and keeps a blog, HogwartsProfessor.com) gives his insights on the Twilight fandom, too.

We also get to learn about the town of Forks and also La Push. Members of the Quileute tribe also talk about how their tribe started from wolves.
