At the 17th annual Screen Actors Guild awards ceremony, Helena Bonham Carter and the cast of The King's Speech (which included Michael Gambon and Timothy Spall) won in the award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
Actress Kelly Macdonald (Helena Ravenclaw) and the cast of HBO's Boardwalk Empire were awarded the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for television.
