Now I know how Argus Filch, squib caretaker of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, felt when he received his letter from Kwikspell, a correspondence course in beginner’s magic.
The Kymera Magic Wand remote control makes an ordinary Muggle feel like a full-fledged wizard. Of course, like any good bit of spellwork, it takes a little practice. But after about half an hour of swishing and flicking, my wand and I now understand each other – and the results are truly amazing. I wish all my classes had homework this fun.
The wand itself comes in a lovely satin-lined display box. It looks as lovely as any Harry Potter replica and has a nice weight to it.
Now my greatest hope is that Wii will create a similar wand controller.
