In an update to our previous newspost, we can now state that Ralph Fiennes, Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter movies, has been nominated for his work in The Duchess at this year's London Critics' Circle Film awards.
The award that Fiennes is receiving recognition for is in the British Actor of the Year Award category.
Moreover, Emma Thompson (Sybill Trelawney) has been nominated for her work in Brideshead Revisited in the British Actress in a Supporting Role category; while Toby Jones (the voice of Dobby) has been nominated for the British Actor in a Supporting Role category for films Frost/Nixon and W.
The awards will be given out on February 4th, 2009.
