Reuters has announced that Michael Gambon (Dumbledore) has been cast in Book of Eli, a sci-fi action thriller being produced by Warner Brothers.
Gary Oldman (Sirius) joined the cast in October and will play one half of an eccentric couple struggling to preserve old traditions in a new-future, dystopian America.
Filming begins this month in Albuquerque, New Mexico and the movie is scheduled to be released January 15th, 2010.
