A few of the Harry Potter cast have been nominated in the Irish Film and Television awards for work outside of the series!
Brendan Gleeson (Moody) is up for a Best Actor nomination for in In Bruges.
David Thewlis' (Lupin), movie, The Boy in Striped Pyjamas, is nominated for Best International Film.
Emma Thompson (Trelawney) is up for the Pantene People's Choice award for Best International Actress for Brideshead Revisited.
Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort) is nominated for Best International Actor for The Duchess.
David Holmes, who composed the music for Rupert Grint's new movie Cherrybomb, has been nominated for Best Original Score for that film.
The 6th Annual Irish Film & Television Awards ceremony will air live on RTÉ One, Saturday 14 February 2009, at 9.30pm GMT.
Highlights from the show will be broadcast on BBC Two Northern Ireland at 7pm GMT on Monday 16th February.
The ceremony will take place at Dublin's Burlington Hotel.
