Scanachrome, a company that has made giant stage set graphics for all the previous Harry Potter films, has created a humongous image of Cumbria, a mountainous rural county in North-west England that is considered one of the most beautiful areas of the U.K., for use in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
[Scanachrome] specialises in the production of graphics to almost unlimited size for use in almost any environment to include sports stadia branding, TV and theatrical sets , building wraps, internal and external advertising banners and exhibitions.
On the Harry Potter film its experts created an image that was 13.2 metres high and 156 metres long to depict the Cumbrian landscape at Shepperton Studios.
