The Derby Telegraph is reporting that location scouts for the Harry Potter and tthe Half-Blood Prince movie have visited Hardwick Hall in Doe Lea, Derbyshire, England, twice in the past six months.

A spokeswoman for the National Trust said it was an exciting prospect for the region.
She said: "Film producers and location managers put a lot of effort into researching a lot of locations that could be used.
"Hardwick Hall is the only National Trust property in the East Midlands to be considered as a location for the new movie.
"We are now waiting to find out if it will be used or not."
